Secret Calculator Photo Vault is an iPhone and iPad app that keeps your private photos, videos, files, notes, passwords and contacts in a vault locked with a PIN, pattern or Face ID. On your home screen it appears as "iCalculator", a calculator that really works.

Yes. The app is free to download on the App Store.

No. There is no sign-up and no login. You set a PIN on first launch and your vault is ready.

iPhone and iPad running iOS 15.1 or later.

Open the app - it looks like a calculator. Enter a PIN of at least 4 digits and press the % button. Confirm the PIN by entering it again and pressing % once more. You will be taken to your private vault.

On the calculator screen, type your PIN and press the % button. You can also switch to Pattern Lock or Face ID / Touch ID in Settings > Lock Type.

If you set up a Security Question (Settings > Security Question), you can reset your PIN from any lock screen by tapping "Forgot PIN?", or by typing 0101 and pressing % on the calculator screen.

Open Photos or Videos from the vault home screen, tap the + button, and select items from your Photo Library. They are copied securely into the vault and can be organized into albums.

No. All vault data - photos, videos, notes, contacts, passwords, and files - is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.

Enable Prevent Screenshot in Settings. This blocks screenshots and screen recordings while your vault is open.

Yes. Go to Settings > App Icon and choose from 9 calculator-style icons in different colours and themes.

Yes. Open Browser from the vault home screen. It includes a 3-layer ad blocker, saves no history outside the vault, and can download files directly into your vault.

Your photos, notes, contacts, and passwords from the previous version are imported automatically on first launch. If the migration looks incomplete, go to Settings and re-run it, or contact support.

A fix for a bug where duplicate files could build up after upgrading from the old version is coming in the next app update. After updating, open the app once and the extra space is freed automatically.

Your vault is stored only on this device and is never uploaded to our servers. Before you switch phones or reset your device, copy what you want to keep with Wireless Transfer or save it back to your Photo Library.

Yes. Go to Settings > Lock Type and choose Face ID / Touch ID or Pattern Lock. Your PIN still works as a fallback.

Deleting the app permanently deletes everything stored in the vault. Before deleting, export anything you want to keep (for example, save photos back to your Photo Library or use Wireless Transfer to copy files to another device).
